Sundarams South Indian food has been a trusted name in Chandigarh for authentic South Indian cuisine since 2002. The restaurant was founded by Mr. S. Sundaram and his wife, Uma Maheswari, with a simple goal – to share the flavours of their homeland with their new community.
Mr. S. Sundaram, originally from Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, moved to Chandigarh in 1977 and spent years working with a media house. But his real passion lay elsewhere—in food. Uma Maheswari’s gift for creating traditional South Indian cuisine inspired the couple to prepare meals for their family and friends.
